This year is especially significant as we mark 30 years of haemovigilance in the UK — three decades of vigilance, learning, and continuous improvement in transfusion safety. Join us as we celebrate this milestone with an inspiring and forward‑looking programme.
Attendees will also be the first to hear the key insights from the 2025 Annual SHOT Report, which will be released at the symposium. Learn about emerging trends, crucial insights, and the gaps that need addressing from the reported transfusion safety incidents.
The 2026 Symposium will bring together a wide range of healthcare professionals involved in transfusion, including laboratory staff, clinicians, Transfusion Practitioners, haemovigilance specialists and quality assurance professionals.
Expect engaging discussions, expert presentations, and valuable networking opportunities designed to support learning, collaboration, and continued excellence in transfusion practice.
Patient outcomes and patient safety remain central to the discussions and learning throughout the symposium.
