The PEN Awards celebrate excellence in patient experience, innovation, and improvement across health and care services. Being shortlisted in two categories is a significant achievement and reflects SHOT’s continuing commitment to improving transfusion safety through collaboration, learning, and engagement with patients and healthcare professionals.
We are particularly pleased to be recognised for our work supporting patient involvement in patient safety and for the partnerships that help drive improvements across the healthcare system. These nominations are a testament to the dedication and hard work of colleagues, contributors, partner organisations, and volunteers who support SHOT’s mission.
The winners will be announced at the Picker Experience Network Awards ceremony in Birmingham on 01 October 2026, bringing together organisations from across health and care to celebrate outstanding achievements in patient experience and safety.
