SHOT have been announced as a runner-up in the Communicating for Impact category of the Excellence in Clinical Audit Awards, which are a highlight of Clinical Audit Awareness Week.
SHOT were recognised for the My Transfusion app, the UK’s first transfusion patient information app, co-created with patients and healthcare professionals.
Clinical Audit Awareness Week is an annual campaign, hosted by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP), that ran from 22-26 June 2026 this year. It underlines the critical role of clinical audit and data in improving and saving patients’ lives.
SHOT would like to thank HQIP for their consideration and kind comments. And as always, thank the patient representatives who shared their personal insights and vital knowledge to create My Transfusion.
The Excellence in Clinical Audit Awards celebrate the individuals and teams who are delivering practical, data-informed change in Trusts, audits and other healthcare organisations up and down the country. By transforming healthcare through rigorous, evidence-informed improvement projects, they offer practical inspiration to others delivering healthcare. They also act as drivers of improvement at a national level, as well as in their own organisations.
