E-learning

The SHOT e-learning modules are now live. These have been developed and are relevant for all healthcare staff, clinical and laboratory, involved in the transfusion process. The e-learning modules have been created with funding support from the Health Education England and have been designed to increase awareness about patient safety related to transfusion and the role of haemovigilance in transfusion safety.

Available modules include:

Specific requirements for patients – The essentials

The e-learning modules can be accessed on the elfh Blood Transfusion Training programme, on the eIntegrity version and on ESR.

To access the e-learning modules please see the web links below. Please remember you need to be logged in to be able to see the courses and they can be accessed under the SHOT catalogue.

Step 2 – The three SHOT e-learning modules will be displayed as shown below.

Step 3 – Click on the module you want to do and then on the ‘Play’ button
